We’re delighted to confirm our turnover has exceeded £1 million per year! The growth we are experiencing continues (and is accelerating) quarter by quarter. Enquiry numbers, orders, profit and turnover are all sharply increasing. Our workforce also continues to expand rapidly to keep up with customer demand – this is important if we are to keep customer service at the heart of everything we do whilst being friendly and helpful. In the last year alone, we have seen staff numbers double and we expect this to increase further in the coming months.

Quarter 3 of 2014 and September 2014 have been our most successful quarter and month yet. September 2014 profit was 221% higher than September 2013 and quarter 3 profit was 237% higher than the previous year. Turnover has increased more than 300% over the previous year too.

Yesterday we achieved the milestone of 150 reviews on Europe’s biggest review portal, Trustpilot. In one year alone we invited 560 customers, whose orders we have completed, to rate our service. In total 26.96% of customers responded. We’re rated 4.7 out of 5 / 9.0 out of 10. We look forward to vastly increasing the number of reviews in the coming year.

Emily Rostern Joins 1Gas

We’re pleased to announce Emily Rostern has joined 1Gas as a Gas Connections  Consultant. She qualified from Bury College with a triple distinction in travel and tourism and she hopes to pursue her interest in travel in the future. Emily’s recent work experience includes working in retail for a loans company in Manchester and working in the south of France as a holiday representative. Whilst working at the loans company, her main duties were to offer short term financial solutions for those who needed them. Her customer service was rated with ‘wow’ alerts for good customer service and ‘rescue’ alerts for unsatisfactory service. Emily  achieved the highest number of ‘wow’ alerts (34) in the Manchester region with no rescue alerts. She also received a letter from her previous Managing Director of 450+ stores praising her great work, no mean feat! Last summer Emily worked at Manchester Airport as a check in assistant for Thomson Airways. Responsibilities included handling delayed passengers and also making sure everyone got off on their holidays on time! Emily is really looking forward to getting started at 1Gas, and excited to be part of a really friendly team, and putting her great customer service experience to good use. Michael has experience as an Estate Agent and a Customer Service Assistant. Recently he achieved an upper second class honours degree in Construction Project Management at the University of Central Lancashire. Michael has Italian heritage and is passionate about food and cars.
