1Gas has recently been recruiting new employees to our team. Offering the best possible service for gas pipe connections and gas meters is crucial to our ethos, which is why we have been growing the team to maintain good customer service. We welcome new staff joining us and we’re sure they will be a great addition to the 1Gas team helping us to deliver gas meter and gas connection services, and friendly efficient service too.
In June we moved to new offices at Queensbury House in central Brighton. This week we have moved to a larger office to accommodate more staff joining us in September. We even have an orange wall matching our corporate colours. We’re very pleased with our new gas connections and meters hub! Feel free to come and visit us. We’re situated on the 3rd floor of Queensbury House, 106 Queens Road, a two minute walk away from the railway station and Churchill Square.
We’re delighted to announce July 2012 has been our most busiest month for quote requests and orders since we launched over two and a half years ago. It’s been a very busy month for us, and even though the UK is in the grip of a recession, 1Gas continues to grow and serve a growing number of customers. We’ve seen unprecedented demand for gas meter and gas connection services recently, in fact order volumes are up 300% on the previous month. We’ve also received some fantastic testimonials which we are delighted with and gives us great motivation and job satisfaction. We believe part of our success is down to offering competitive pricing and friendly accessible service. The recent growth has also been possible and bolstered by an increase in our staff levels and the launch of our new website.
Due to growth in our business 1Gas is seeking a new Gas Connections Assistant apprentice to help deliver gas pipe and meter connections at our modern office in Brighton city centre. The ideal new employee would be responsible for four main key areas of work: handling new customer enquiries, requesting costs from suppliers, sending quotes to customers by email, and overseeing orders from start to finish … and more. The ideal candidate will be very enthusiastic, professional when dealing with customers at all times, and willing to use their own initiative. 1Gas strives to offer our customers the best possible service to stand out from the crowd and make our work environment a rewarding and satisfying place to be. We’re thrilled with the launch of our brand new website. The stunning new design and fluid navigation should provide a better user experience whilst offering an improved understanding of what 1Gas has to offer. Quote requests should now be easier to complete and faster too. Nice little extra touches include the introductory animation and web video presenter (courtesy of Torie Campbell who has also provided work for the BBC and ITV) to help showcase our company. We now believe our website is one of the best in the gas connections industry, but we would be delighted to hear what you think.
To coincide with our new website, we’ve got a new and improved 1Gas logo. It has a slightly more modern edge to it and 3D look. We’re really pleased with it.
We’re delighted to welcome our new starter Derry Mulloy who started earlier in June. Derry will be working as a Gas Connections Assistant and helping customers with new enquiries, quotes, and orders for gas pipe connections and gas meters. 1Gas wants to give him a very warm welcome.
On 1st June 1Gas has relocated to a modern office in Brighton city centre. You can find us on Queens Road in the heart of the city right next door to the train station making it very easy to find us. If you’d like to visit us please get in touch.
1Gas are delighted to have given the green light to a new website which is now in development and should launch sometime in June or July 2012. Our new website promises to offer even greater ease of use, navigation, an improved quote request form, and of course a modern facelift for our brand. Our gas connection and gas meter services are in strong demand and our new website will allow us to reach a wider audience of customers who can benefit from what we offer.
1Gas, the gas connection and meter experts, have now relocated to the south coast of England. We can be found in Brighton, East Sussex. We plan to move to offices later this year in the heart of the city centre and employ new colleagues to the company.
