1Gas is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at the Utility Week Stars Awards 2014. This is a tremendous honour for our team and highlights their continuing work to go above and beyond the call of our duty to provide our home and business customers with the highest standards of service.

The awards are a celebration of the people behind the UK’s utilities, from individuals on the front line to back office staff, with 1Gas included amongst an incredibly high standard of nominations from energy and water businesses.

Since our establishment, we have helped a range of business and domestic customers through our professional gas pipe installation and meter connection services, but this has only been made possible due to the continuing contribution of our team.

Our team of highly trained professionals have helped us to become a trusted supplier of an efficient and reliable service. They have also enabled us to provide customers with unparalleled customer service, which is no-nonsense and satisfying.

That is why we see our team’s shortlist for the Apprentice of the Year award as confirmation of our strategy to prioritise the needs of our customers, which we will continue to do in order to provide the highest standard of service.

The winners of the Apprentice of the Year award will be selected by a team of expert judges on Friday 13 June at the Lancashire County Cricket Club.
