On Friday 21st June we moved 2 miles from our office in central Brighton to our new office in Hove at the Gemini Business Centre (near Goldstone Retail Park). Our new office is located close to Hove railway station and bus links. The larger space and provides us with room to grow into as we expand.

We offer a freephone 0800 number for customers to call but we know that 0800 numbers are often not free from mobile phones. Over recent years many mobile phone operators have started charging very high fees to call an 08 number regardless of whether it’s free from a landline or not. Some companies even charge as much as 20p per minute to ring an 0800 number. To make it easier and cheaper for customers to contact us by phone, we’ve set up a brand new local rate 0333 number especially to tackle this problem. 03 numbers are usually part of inclusive minutes for those on mobile contracts or the price of standard call rate for pay as you go phone users, rather than at a ‘premium’ rate. The new number went live today and you can reach 1Gas on 0333 577 0 688. We can still be reached on 0800 644 0 688.
To better reflect the services we offer, today we officially changed our company name with Companies House from ‘1Gas Siteworks Ltd’ to ‘1Gas Connections Limited’. We still trade as 1Gas.
It’s fantastic what can be created on computers and even games consoles. One of our staff members, Dan Carter, has created this Ford Transit image with 1Gas company livery. We love the colour scheme and layout – it looks very striking in our opinion!

April 2013 is 1Gas’ most successful month so far – we’ve achieved our highest profit in a single month yet. The previous best month has been toppled by more than 20%. In the midst of a slow economic recovery, we’re very pleased with the results. The graph below shows our steady growth in profit since summer 2011.
Our brand new 1Gas animation video was launched today and we think it’s brilliant. It’s an advert that is now live on our website and also on YouTube. At just over a minute long, it was created to promote the gas connection services 1Gas have to offer, and the benefits we can provide. The video has been kept clean and simple to understand, with a slightly humorous tone, which we hope reflects the helpful customer service and friendly staff we aim to provide at all times.
